189: bitch!

the typewriter ribbon.....

IS PISSING ME OFF.

everytime i do "word correct" the godDAMN thing comes all loose and goes haywire, so i have to wind it a little bit, then place it back where it belongs.

the ribbon came off earlier this morning, it was at the end of the spool...so i rewound it, to use the ribbon over again, and ever since then, thats when the word correct cartridge (a seperate one from the ribbon cartridge) started going nuts on me.

im trying so hard to type of the First Word, and i was doing really well on it today, editing things like a beast, and adding things, and writing new poems, and now, ive wasted nearly ten sheets of this expensive, textured paper because of this goddamn word correct thing.

and me? i refuse to give anyone a manuscript of my poetry with mispelled words and the like, all because im afraid of wasting more paper.

any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated...

if someone knows ANYTHING about smith/corona typewriters...HELP.

x
