132: something extraordinary in the ordinary

a strangers words can have a larger effect on our lives than we think..

the other night, an old woman from Africa quoted something to me, and though i cant quite remember it word-for-word, what she said really struck a chord.

and its funny - when she was talking to me - in that moment, i was able to conciously realize that i was having a "moment" ... and that made it all the better..and especially memorable.

today, i stumbled across something while i was working - a stranger typed something into a comment box on an order i was processing, and this is what he/she wrote:

"THIS IS THE REMIX OF IGNITION HOT AND FRESH OUT OF THE KITCHEN"

completely unrelated to the order, completely out of the blue, and probably out of boredom...but this strangers words are now scribbled on a yellow sticky-note on my desk..someone he/she'll never know.

amazing how words travel lengths. how thoughts and expression can leave our minds and end up in someone elses - a complete stranger.

amazing.
